Question about self tanner?(posted also under beauty-skin-sorry)?

I wanted to try: Dove Energy Glow Daily Moisturizer with subtle Self Tanners – Medium but i need to know if the day after i apply it at night can i take a quick shower in the morning without having to re-apply it or self-tanners are stuff you have to reply everytime you take a shower or dip in the pool for a long while-wants to try this cause i don’t feel like having skin issues with the sun or tanning beds..please any advice or tips on self tanning needed! thanks

No you won’t have to reapply–unless you want to. But the effect builds up, so you may need to apply it 2-3 times before you notice the difference. Once you get the shade you want, just apply a couple of times a week.

Be sure to get the correct shade for your skin. If you have fair skin and you use the medium or dark, it will not look right. Also, exfoliate really well before you apply the moisturizer–so you don’t get streaks. And be careful around the ankles, knees, and elbows. Exfoliate these areas especially well and be sure to rub the lotion in completely. Don’t forget to wash your hands well after application.
