Skin Care Routine Acne

Skin Care Routine Acne
Help with skin-care routine for very bad face acne problems?

Hi , I currently use St. Ives Apricot Scrub , Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash (liquid), and Cetaphil moisturizing cream. I use the Acne wash every morning and night. In the mornings, after the wash, I use the Cetaphil cream. At night, first I use the wash, then the apricot scrub for exfoliation, then the cream. I have sensitive skin. Is that OK? Any tips on what I should change (or add?) I heard Best Bath Store Acne Bar and Gel work well. I have a very bad case of acne. I’ve tried Proactiv already. I have a lot of scars from it too. Are the foam and liquid kinds of Neutrogena Oil Free acne wash the same or is one better than the other?
Thanks ♥

This is so weird. I used to have extremely bad acne and I used, like, the EXACT same things you are. I went to all these hella expensive dermatologists and brought my products with me (those same ones). They said do NOT use the Apricot Scrub because it’s actually scraping the surface of your skin which is bad. Sure, it’s taking off stuff but alot of it is the good stuff and it irritates it, which stimulates the oil glandes. They recomended an Enzyme Exfoliant (remember that) and that really helped because it basically ate off the bad stuff without all the horrific scrubbing. Next, Nuetrogena is great for the average skin type which is why its a great succesful brand. However, for people like you and me, its harsh and the balance of soap and cleansing product isnt exactly right for our skin type (aka troublesome). They switched me to Biore Acne cleanser, Biore Conditioning cleanser for whenever my face gets dry, and when my skin gets all flaky after a sun burn or whatever, the Biore gentle scrub which is ten times milder than the St. Ives, but should still be used once a week AT MOST. I kept the clearisil moisterizer which is fine. This stuff really really gave me results when nothing else did, but my acne was heavily genetic so I still had some problems with it, though not nearly as much as before. They put me on Accutane which is a 6 month regime with just a pill and it clears up 99 percent of all cases, because it is THE strongest stuff on the market to date. After i took it, I got perfect movie star skin. I am so not kidding. The peeling and redness in the first 2 months is a total bitch but it’s not that bad. Like, all my friends couldnt really tell and just thought I had a sunburn. If you go for this, theres a generic one thats called Claravis which is way cheaper. If you want more info, just vote my answer as the best and ill get a notification and explain more. I really think Accutane is worth it becasue I spent 3 years with terrible acne and now my skin is perfect after 6 lousy months. All my friends are jealous now and were like WTF after I came back from summer vacation with clear skin. I hear you, acne sucks.
