Skin problems?

Since I was about 4 or 5 I always have had a problem with pimples. When I was younger, I couldnt be on the front lawn because Id break out with pimples on my legs or be in the sun too long becuase my ears would get swollen. Throughout my puberty, I had acne just as others do. But it wasnt something out of the ordinary. It seems I am no longer sensitive to grass or sun anymore which is great. However, since about 19 and up, I have had pimples all ove4r my body. sometimes they are just red bumps and sometimes they look like pimples people normally get on their face. I wonder if it has something to do with my sweat glands. Im a little overweight but I am constantly playing sports.I have good self esteem and I have a great wife. I know she doesnt care about it and she loves me anyways. But I think I owe it to her and to myself to at least research it a little. Ive been thinking about going to a dermatologist. Can anyone give me some insight on this? thanks
